Bicycling

I enjoy long distance bicycling. These are the long distance trips of over 1,000 miles that I've taken. These rides are "Pure Rides" - that is - no support vehicle, sag-wagons, or lifts. Motels were used where convenient, otherwise I "tented it". Restuarants were used when available, if not, I made my own meals on the backpack stove. An average day of riding is 70 miles. Sometimes more, sometimes less depending on weather and road concitions
