Bicycling
I
enjoy long distance bicycling. These are the long distance trips
of over 1,000 miles that I've taken. These rides are "Pure
Rides" - that is - no support vehicle, sag-wagons, or lifts.
Motels were used where convenient, otherwise I "tented it".
Restuarants were used when available, if not, I made my own meals
on the backpack stove. An average day of riding is 70 miles. Sometimes
more, sometimes less depending on weather and road concitions
Chicago

(This ride was cut short in Ft. Collins, Colorado because of a knee
injury and he has plans to complete it. )
Rich
has plans for more short and long distance trips. Stay tuned.....
